What do we do?

Support adapted to each person

At Libella Psychology, we understand that every person, every family and every story is unique. That is why we offer personalised psychological care, based on scientific evidence and adapted to the specific needs of those who place their trust in us.

We work from an integrative approach that combines tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Systemic Therapy and other scientifically supported therapeutic models. Our aim is to help you understand what is happening to you, develop new resources and move towards greater emotional well-being.

We offer in-person sessions in central Madrid and online therapy for people who prefer to carry out the process from anywhere.

Our Team

Carmen Irene De Lisa

I am passionate about supporting children, young people and families on their path towards emotional well-being. I believe that understanding how the family and close relationships work is key to growth and healing.

With more than 10 years of experience, I have worked in Spain and Venezuela, helping people with different difficulties such as ADHD, anxiety, learning difficulties and complex emotional situations. I also love collaborating with schools and educational centres, contributing in my own way so that children and young people can develop in a healthier environment.

I am also a lecturer and researcher at the European University of Madrid, where I continue to learn and grow professionally, because I believe ongoing training is essential.

I speak Spanish, English and Portuguese, and I always try to create spaces for listening and support where each person feels understood and accompanied.

If you would like to know more or connect, I would be happy to talk with you.

Our Approach

At Libella Psychology, we understand that each person is unique. That is why we adapt the therapeutic process to each patient’s needs, circumstances and goals. We do not work from a single rigid model; instead, we choose the most appropriate tools and strategies for each case, always with the aim of promoting emotional well-being.
Our way of working is mainly based on two approaches: the systemic approach and the cognitive behavioural approach.

From the systemic approach, we understand the person within their context: their relationships, family, environment and the dynamics that influence their distress. This approach allows us to look beyond the individual symptom and understand how difficulties may be related to bonds, communication and the changes taking place within the family or relational system.

From the cognitive behavioural approach, we work on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and behaviours. This model helps identify patterns that cause suffering and develop concrete strategies to face present difficulties in a healthier way.

Through a careful assessment of each case, we combine different psychological techniques to support the person in understanding what is happening to them, developing new resources and recovering their emotional balance.
